Gilbert’s journey into the world of photography, art & creative direction began at the tender age of 19, sparked by an unexpected gift from his uncle before embarking on a transformative trip to the vibrant art centers of Japan. Armed with his newfound companion, a camera, Gilbert stepped into a realm where culture, tradition, and innovation collided in a symphony of colors and shapes.
Returning to the warm embrace of his homeland, Ghana, Gilbert carried with him not just memories, but a newfound purpose. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a relentless drive to hone his craft, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, immersing himself in the world of art and design.
Gilbert’s work transcends geographical boundaries, offering glimpses into the shared humanity that unites us all. He has worked with several international brands on a number creative projects which spans, photography, film, interactive media, design, Augmented and virtual reality.
But amidst the accolades and recognition, Gilbert remains rooted in his purpose – to tell stories that move hearts, provoke thought, and ignite change. For those who encounter his work, they are not just viewers but participants in a journey of empathy and understanding.
